Zoo Lights

To add to the Holiday spirit, I decided to bundle up the girls and meet Jen & Kam at the Zoo.  I had heard about Zoo lights but didn't really know what to expect.  Is all I know is that the girls loved it.  They didn't even complain about being cold...and oh it was cold.  The only complaint was they wanted to see real animals too.  The Merry Go Round was a new addition we hadn't seen there before.  So of course it was a must.   

Sayda's Dance Recital

Sayda's 1st year of dance with Studio One was successful.  She loves it.  For her recital the dance to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"  Just so happens to be Sayda's favorite Christmas movie.  As you can see, Sayda's character was Cindy Lou Who.  It was adorable.  She was dancing on stage and waving to us in the front row saying Hi to Kamdyn and Kesyn.  She was a star. 

Picking out the Christmas Tree

The Girls and I went today to pick out the Christmas tree with Papa, Jen & Kam, and to our suprise Santa and 2 of his reindeer were there.  The girls got to sit in Santa's sleigh and ride on Prancer.  Kessy was a little scared but once big sis got up there she was game.  They were so excited.  I love to see their little faces light up!! 

"Lights On" @ The Gateway

After a long day of crazy shopping with Mom & Jen.  We decided to follow with dinner at Z'tejas. (Thank goodness for that cubby!!)  & end the night with the lighting of the big tree at Gateway.  The girls loved it.  We sat on the deck at our Gateway condo & listened to the Christmas songs, drank tea (out of hot chocolate...oops)  & then on went the lights. Should definately be a family tradition, it was fun.   

Kesyn's First Haircut

Kesyn got her first haircut today.  She was awesome she was laughing and having so much fun.  The girl that cut her hair at Cookie Cutters said that this was the first "first haircut" where the kid wasn't screaming or crying.  That's Kesyn for ya. It also helped that elmo was on tv.   I decided she needed a cute A-line cut and let me tell you it fits her perfect!! She is as sassy as ever!! Sayda got her haircut too, but she was more excited that Kessy B was getting hers cut for the first time.  

Alphabet Crown....

Today Sayda got her alphabet crown at school.  Which means she knows all her letters and the 2 sounds each letter makes.  She has a song that she sings that goes thru them all.  I was so proud of her.  She was really excited.  Her teacher Miss Candie, made her a crown and she got to wear it all day at school.

Disney on Ice

Today we went to Disney on Ice, the girls were so excited.  They were totally into it. Kesyn was glued & she hasn't even seen many of the movies, but she was laughing & clapping.  Sayda and Kamdyn' s favorite part was the princesses, who would have thought.  They were singing the songs and lovin it.  Sayda kept saying Sleeping Beauty wasn't there because she was sick.  She was the only princess not there.  It was definately a hit!
